PALLIATIVES FOR STAFF
As a way of celebrating his birthday on the 24th July, 2023, the Executive Director, Mr. Osazee Oyegue has approved the provision of palliatives to over 665 full time staff and all other contract staff serving in Standard Life organization’s 99 operational branches in 21 states in Nigeria.
The current financial crisis, occasioned by various government policies, especially, the increment in petrol pump price from N187 to N617 per liter, has undoubtedly caused hardships for individuals and families across Nigeria. Hence, the Executive Director has directed the Human Resources Department to commence the distribution of palliatives to all staff across the organization to help cushion the negative effect of the resulting inflation.
However, the ED noted that crisis also present opportunities for growth and transformation and urge all staff to focus on the benefits of the present experiences.
The distribution which is scheduled to be completed within 48 hours has since commenced with staff seeing this gesture as a great relief coming their way at the right time.
