Standard Life rescues baby and mother from unpaid hospital bills

Sarah Evans, the wife of Evans Osagie residing in Eyaengie community-the host of Standard Life head office, had spend over a week at Fidelity Hospital due to her inability to pay the bill of about 500,000 Naira emanating from the ceasarian operation through which she gave birth to her beautiful baby girl. The youth chairman of the community, Mr. Ode Godwin and his executive approached Standard Life Organization for financial intervention. After negotiation with the management of Fidelity Hospital on Benin/Agbor Road, Benin City, Edo State, the sum of 400,000 was paid by Standard Life Organization to clear Sarah Evan's outstanding bill that led to the full discharge of the mother and her new born
